The project converge supports the government’s agenda to optimize, scale up and sustain the gains of the agrarian reform program through the provision of support services to beneficiaries awarded with lands and other smallholder farmers including women and indigenous peoples.

By working together, DAR, IFAD, and stakeholders from the civil society sector will ensure that beneficiaries can access the resources they need to make the most of their land and be empowered to become successful entrepreneurs. Through this project, we will build strong and resilient agrarian communities that can contribute to national growth and development.

Ultimately, this 6-year project will help to improve the lives and livelihoods of millions of vulnerable people in the Philippines and is a shining example of the power and potential of international aid and cooperation.
